Instrument in His hands

This week was very powerful mom! We were able to feel the power of the grace of God and how he puts us in the path of others. We were walking the other day and this lady stops us and asks us if we could come and visit her and her family. She told us how she was baptized when she was young and was now inactive. Her name is Snow, but in Spanish of course. I felt the power of the spirit as we were guided the day before to know where to go that day, to be put in her path. It was great! I know that he guides us and that we are just instruments as we work. Because this is his work, and we just need to be worthy to be played in his hands in his concert.
We have seen changes as we have a very special family Norma and Wilmar. They went to church together again as they heard the testimonies of all sorts haha.
But we feel the change in them and the great potential every family has. to be eternal through our loving heavenly father and HIS SON!

Hymns are Powerful

well mom, I hope you know I love you! I have really felt the power of hymns this past week. I really have. It's amazing. Since my comp gets in those moods, I have my hymnbook haha. no. It's good for me. I will be with him this transfer too. We both stayed. I know the Lord knows what he is doing. I have changed so much and I have really felt the song of redeeming love!

We have this family named Norma and Wilmar. I think I have already told you of them. Wow are they great. The last lesson we were able to listen to Wilmar say in the last prayer that he hopes his wife truly understands and feels that these things are true so that she can get baptized! wow was it powerful.

and I have been able to find a true peace with the hymns. I have this new love and courage and power to overcome the challenges! I have felt this power to be able to control myself more. all these things.

I have read all the conference talks, to hear all the wonderful wise words they give us and how I never knew or understood the power of the words of the prophet!  I have changed so much mom. It's amazing. I love it so much!
and to see others change so much as well. We have this less active named Jose Frisancho, and wow is it powerful. As we follow the spirit! and the words come and the spirit does its job! He has changed. His conversion has begun very quickly and powerfully! I asked him how he sees himself in a year and he said with a calling and completely changed. and we talked of the temple and how its his goal.


Our future is as bright as our faith.

The power of the temple.
Yesterday we were with a part member family. Wilmar is the father and Norma is the mother, Wilmar is less active and norma is catholic. However as she began to understand the need for restoration and how there was a big fall of the church, her heart opened up. She began to allow the spirit to touch her heart. She truly listened. We talked of the TEMPLE== ´´el fin´ the end. The purpose of why we are here, to gain life eternal, which consits of living with the family forever with God. And wow was there power!

Everything we should do should help us prepare to enter into the temple with our family! If we wouldn't do it, listen to it, or say it the temple, why would we do it outside of it?
Why would we live two lives...?

I'm still not there and never will, until the next life. But it's something we should strive to do!
And thats why we teach it.

Being a district leader is so fun. I didn't know it was haha. To be able to see the progress of your missionaries, as they begin to improve through the power and gift of the grace of God! 

This area we have a pension. She is so great! So loving with her food and everything.

1 year this week

I just love writing you mom. feels like forever haha. my year mark is coming up. it's crazy.. I can't believe it.. I love all the things you guys send me! I love you so much! I feel your love! I work so hard everyday. everyday flys quicker and quicker everyday... I just hope that everyday I am doing what the savior would do if he were here in Peru- I feel his love for the people , even if there is pure apostasy everywhere haha. I need to raise up to his level of love! I wish I had that love.

Ben sent me his name with some other names that I am trying to find right now. haha it's super cool. I found some people that remember him and were super happy to see him and his family. I carry his pictures around everywhere in my scriptures to show people

I love the things that you learned this week too! kinda the same as mine haha.
I have learned lots about the love of christ and how to react to things that are just completly dumb haha.
I cannot really tell you the whole story,  but I learned a lot to have patience, love, & calmness.

my pal elder frazier who I met on the plane flying to Mexico from AZ is in my zone haha *contrary to what the picture shows-they are happy to see each other again!

Time is flying, and I know once I hit my year mark.. it will get 
worse, and fly by even more haha.. but in some aspect it's good, then I 
can see you guys quicker, it's like when you want Christmas to come , 
you got to go to bed quicker so that Christmas can come faster- haha. 

We are teaching lots of families. which is always just the best and so very exciting!

This week was a bit crazy, as the Amercia cup was on. it's like the soccer chip 
for all of the south america. it was crazy, we couldn't teach people 
cuz they were watching the game. 
we have found some pretty cool less actives who want to change. It is 
very interesting to work with them and sometimes see their point of 
view, or put yourself in their shoes. 
I'm super sad cuz I couldn't send you the pictures.. I got this nasty 
bug on my memory.. the computers don't work.
but just know that we are working hard, I am looking for people that 
knew Ben all over the place haha. but we are going to go to the beach 
today. it should be fun. 
 
its so funny how I always wait for that moment when I can just master 
everything that I am trying to do at once, or waiting for that moment 
when I can just feel like I got it all down,, but the lord is good and 
making you not be able to feel that way haha, or things would just be 
too easy, hes got to stretch us so that we can improve!

Just know that we are doing great, and everything is fine, just let me 
know if there is anything you would like me to do for you guys. 
I love you so much mom. I hope you feel it in my words. it's so true, 
Those videos we watched, I will do the same, maybe even more drastic 
haha, even though I promised not to haha. I love our family so 
much. I hope that you guys had a good fourth of July!

Goodbye President Douglas

Mom, I hope everything goes well, wish I was there on the vacation. looks like so much fun! I am jealous haha.

We get a new misison president today, it was very sad, but it's something new, we have been able to do great things this week, one of them being bitten by a dog, haha,no we have been teaching lots of families, we are working with lots, we had about 4 in the church yesterday! it was super cool, the grace of God is great, and his tender mercies are brought unto those who have great faith.

i love you mom, i am sorry its short, we had lots of computer problems today.

just hope you know that i love you so much!

Dog bite

A week of learning

Wow, what a week of just pure learning!

Dad I hope that you had a great father's day!

This week we were given a promise of 10 new investigators, sadly we only found 7... but yesterday was a day of seeing the Lord's hand, and how He is preparing his children to listen to the truth.

as we were walking, we saw a family,(we always contact families in the street, all of them!) and the father was caring a bag of stuff, and we wanted to offer him some help to him. but he didn't want us to he said haha, but we insisted and then he allowed us to help him carry this bag up this huge hill, where all of Chorrillos can be seen! it was so pretty! well on the walk we just had a normal natural conversation, as we reached the top of the hill and to his house he allowed us to go into his house! it was so great! this family was prepared, very attentive and ready to receive the message that we had for him, the spirit was there.

I know there are people ready out there! we just need to be like Christ and offer service to all we can! now I don't know if he will be baptized, you really never know haha, but I do know that he needed to listen to the lord's message to him and his family at that time, because I know that we followed the spirit !

we need to be examples of the believers!

we were able to find 2 new families in one day! 5 childern of the lord in one day.

Now imagine if every member in world at least brought one alma unto the Lord once a week! wow, we need to save our lost children and even those who have entered in and have fallen off the path.

They are the lost sheep who have forgotten that someone has died for there sins. they have forgotten, now we need to always REMEMBER!
